Steampunk Lovecraft

Another sign that Lovecraftianism is taking over the world.  The book review linked to here is for a steampunk novel that while not Lovecraftian, does feature a city state named after Mr H.P.  An odd choice perhaps but I'm going to keep my eye open for it.

Mythos soaked culture

I'm constantly amazed at how Lovecraft and his creepy Mythos has soaked into the very fabric of our culture, or perhaps that's better said as, I'm amazed how many geeks there are out there. Anyway, the point of all this is that I was astounded to find an article about colour based illusions leading off with a reference and quote from "The Colour our of Space".
