Wowzers.  I'm glad I don't have to deal with United States copyright after reading through this nightmare.  It's an article about the copyright status of Lovecraft's works. Over here in the UK its just authors death + 70 years, nice and simple.

Trailer for an RPG Campaign

I spotted this unofficial "trailer" for a roleplaying product.  The composer of this piece has tacked together bits from load of films and made a pretty good advert.  I don't suppose this is official in any way.  I spotted some clips from Hell Boy.

This looks like a handmade copy of the necronomicon.  Or is it a CGI rendering, it's getting so hard to tell these days.

Another Ken Hite treat

It seems Kenneth Hite has re-written the Dunwich Horror.  It's not free but based on his other work this would be well worth a read.

Are pagans nuts?

Well, as the title says I have to ask, because there's talk going on this pagan forum that's so far beyond deluded or misinformed!  Some of them seem to think that the creatures of Lovecraft's mythos are real and others that the Necronomicon is real!

Chillin'

The 19 Nocturne Boulevard podcast pushes out audio dramas and the woman at the center of it is a Lovecraft fan.  In a recent episode she released a short audio drama called Chillin' which is inspired by Lovecraft's "Cool Air".  It's a pretty good take on the story.

Well, I'm not really sure exactly what I'm linking to here.  Is it real occult research or someone having some fun.  Whatever the heck it is, it certainly reads as though someone were trying to translate the Necronomicon.

Steampunk Lovecraft

Another sign that Lovecraftianism is taking over the world.  The book review linked to here is for a steampunk novel that while not Lovecraftian, does feature a city state named after Mr H.P.  An odd choice perhaps but I'm going to keep my eye open for it.

Lovecraftian Sherlock Holmes

A very cool story to be read for free over at the Lovecraft Ezine by Bruce Durham.  Building on Sherlock Holmes, or more accurately in this case Dr Watson, and the mythos he's created a dashingly good short story worth half an hour of your time to read.

Eldritch comic
